Creatures have a # of Struggle Points equal to Tier + 1, which they can spend on modifying each Struggle Attack to customize them. Snazzy names are encouraged.
- +1 DB per Tier (stacks twice)
- – 2 AC (stacks twice)
- The following are all mutually exclusive:
- Decrease range to Melee (gain 1 point)
- Increase range from Short to Medium, and/or from Medium to Long
- Change range to Burst X, Close Blast Y, or Line Y.
- Change range to Cone X or Ranged Blast Y (costs 2 points)
- In both instances, X is equal to Your Tier, while Y is equal to 2 x Your Tier. (Stacks twice, where X or Y is doubled)
- Change range to Self (Status-class only)
- Give it some keywords
- Give it a new effect from a predetermined list
- Change its Type (see Type Shift Spheres, below)
- Decrease Frequency to EoT (gain 2 points)
Intended to be able to recreate and replace simplistic moves like Ember or Aerial Ace. In fact, simplistic moves should just become example Struggle Attacks and automatically appear as such on NPC Pokemon.
Perhaps Pokemon have Moves and humans do not?
