Focus Energy (+ATK or +SPEED) – Scene, Shift Action Trigger: You use a self-targeting Status-class struggle attack. Effect: You gain +3 Critical Range and +3 to Body Skill Checks for the rest of the Scene. |
Fling (+ATK) – Scene x 2, Standard Action Trigger: You are holding an item and there is a target within your Throwing Range. Effect: You throw the item to attack the target, and it gains the Fling keyword. Your target cannot react to this attack. Special: You hit with thrown attacks on AC 2 instead of AC 4. |
Fury Swipes (+SPEED) – At-Will, Free Action Trigger: You use a physical melee attack that has a DB of Your Tier or lower. Effect: Your attack gains the Five Strike keyword. If you are Enraged, you may choose for it to automatically hit 4 times. |
Karate Chop (+ATK) – At-Will, Free Action Trigger: You use the Strong Style attacking option when making a physical melee attack. Effect: You extend your Critical Range by +1 in addition to the normal bonus. Special: Your physical melee Critical Hits may inflict a Tier 1 Volatile Status Condition of your choice. |
Leering Growl (+HP) – Scene x 2, Interrupt Action Trigger: You hit one or more targets with an attack or Skill Power containing the Sonic or Social keywords. Effect: You lower all Targets’ Attack or Defense by 1 Combat Stage. Special: Succeeding on an Intimidate Skill Power inflicts the status on your target(s) for 100% longer. |
Low Kick (+ATK) – EoT, Interrupt Action Trigger: You hit with a Fighting-type physical melee attack. Effect: You deal additional damage equal to twice the target’s Weight Class and may initiate a Trip Combat Maneuver. Does not work on Dynamaxed Pokémon. |
Pursuit (+ATK or +SPEED) – At-Will, Full Action, Interrupt Action Trigger: A target you can see shifts without taking the Disengage Combat Maneuver, gains the Escaping status, or is Recalled. Effect: You gain +5 to all all movement speeds, must shift and end it Engaged with your target. then make a melee attack that inflicts 10 additional damage. |
Rage (+ATK) – At-Will, Free Action Trigger: You hit with a physical melee attack. Effect: The user becomes Enraged until their next End Phase. While Enraged, the user gains +1 Attack Combat Stage when damaged. |
Example Tier 2 Moves:
Assurance (+ATK or +SPATK) – Scene x 2, Free Action Trigger: You hit a target that has already taken damage this round with a Dark-type melee attack. Effect: You may add your ATK or SPATK to this attack an additional time, based on which stat bonus was chosen when this move was learned. |
Cross Chop (+ATK) – Scene x 2, Free Action Trigger: You stack the Strong Style attacking option to its maximum OR use the Called Attack attacking option when making a Fighting-type physical melee attack. Effect: This attack’s Critical Range is extended by +5 and deals +10 damage in addition to the normal bonus. Special: Your physical melee Critical Hits may inflict a Tier 1 Volatile Status Condition of your choice. |
Frenzy (+ATK or +SPATK) – Scene x 2, Interrupt Action Trigger: You use a melee attack. Effect: The attack gains the Fixation (This attack deals +5/+10/+15/+20 additional damage each subsequent turn it is used), Reckless and Smite keywords for the rest of the Scene, including this attack. You also become Enraged. |
Punishment (+ATK) – EoT, Interrupt Action Trigger: You hit a target with a melee Dark-type attack. Effect: This attack deals +3 damage per positive Combat Stage the target has. |
Rage Fist (+HP) – At-Will, Free Action Trigger: You are hit by an attack that deals damage. Effect: You deal +5 damage for the rest of the Scene, up to a maximum of +20 damage. Special: Your Fighting-type attacks may be changed to the Ghost-type. If you do so, you may change the Range of the attack to Short. |
Screeching Sound (+HP) – Scene x 2, Interrupt Action Trigger: You hit one or more targets with an attack or Skill Power containing the Sonic or Social keywords. Effect: You lower all Targets’ Defense or Special Defense by 2 Combat Stages. You may spend 1 PP to lower both stats. Shadow Punch (+ATK) – EoT, Free Action Effect: You may change a melee physical attack to the Ghost-type. If you do so, you may change the Range of the attack to Short. If it is already a Ghost-type attack, it gains the Auto-Hit Keyword. Special: You gain the Darkvision Capability. |
Skull Bash (+DEF) – Scene x 2, Free Action Trigger: You use the Charge combat maneuver. Effect: You gain +1 DEF Combat Stage and your attack deals +15 damage. Special: When hitting a target with the Charge combat maneuver, you may perform a Push, Trip, or Lift combat maneuver on the target as a Free Action. |
Swagger (+DEF or +SPDEF) – Scene x 2, Interrupt Action Trigger: You hit one or more targets with an attack or Skill Power containing the Social keyword. Effect: All targets become Confused and you raise their Attack or Special Attack by 2 Combat Stages. You may spend 1 PP to also lower their Accuracy by 2 Combat Stages. |
Thunder Punch (+ATK) – EoT, Free Action Effect: You may change a melee physical attack to the Electric-type. If you do so, you may change the Range of the attack to Short. If it is already an Electric-type attack, you may change the range to Medium. Special: You gain the Electric-Blooded Capability (Your body can store and transfer Power Units as if it were a machine; 10 Max PU per Tier) and the Struggler (Electric) Capability (Your Struggle Attacks can be Electric-type). |
Example Tier 3 Moves:
Close Combat (+ATK or +SPEED) – Scene x 2, Free Action Trigger: You are Engaged with a target. Effect: You can lower your Defense and/or Special Defense by up to 2 Combat Stages. For the rest of the Scene, you deal +10 damage per Combat Stage chosen to this target while Engaged with them. Special: If a target you are Engaged with uses the Disengage combat maneuver, as an Interrupt Action you gain +5 to all movement speeds, must shift and end it Engaged with your target. |
Final Gambit (+HP x 2) – Scene, Standard Action Trigger: You are Engaged with a target. Effect: You are lowered to 0 Health and deal 1 point of direct damage for each point of Health lost. This Move cannot be reacted to. Special: Your maximum Health cannot be reduced by Injuries or any other source. |
Frightening Fist (+HP or +ATK) – Scene x 3, Interrupt Action Trigger: You hit a target with a melee Dark-type or Fighting-type attack. Effect: You inflict the Frightened status condition. If the target is already Frightened, they become Panicked. If they are already Panicked, they become Catatonic. Special: Once per turn, you gain 1 Tick of Temporary HP whenever you inflict a Fear status condition onto a target. |
Monkey Business (+HP or +SPEED) – Scene x 2, Full Action Trigger: You use Take a Breather or Second Wind during your Start Phase. Effect: You gain 3 HP Ticks per 3 Temporary HP Ticks gained or status condition removed. You may also use any Charm Skill Power that costs a Standard Action. Special: You qualify for Charm Skill Powers based on your highest-ranked Social skill. You can use this Social skill in place of Charm when using Charm Skill Powers. |
Raijin (+SPEED) – At-Will, Interrupt Action [Space] Effect: You transform into a thunderbolt until your next End Phase, gaining a Sky speed of 2,000. If you collide with an object that is non-conductible, you immediately transform back – if it is conductible, you may travel through it using your Sky speed. You deal damage equal to your SPATK upon touching anything non-conductible. While in this form, you can only use Electric-type attacks. You may spend 1 PP to gain a Sky speed of 20,000 until your next Start Phase. |
Stomping Tantrum (+ATK or +SPATK) – EoT, Interrupt Action Trigger: Your last attack failed or missed. Effect: Your next melee attack’s range becomes “Burst X” and deals +15 damage if it hits. This bonus damage is doubled against objects. X can be 1-5, chosen when the attack is made. Special: While Enraged, you are immune to Collision Damage. |
Example Tier 4 Moves:
All-Out Pummeling (+ATK x 2 or +SPATK x 2) – Scene, Shift Action Trigger: You make a Fighting-type attack. Effect: This attack’s range is changed to Medium Ranged Blast 10 or Long Ranged Blast 20 and gains the Five Strike and Smite keywords. This attack is one step more Super Effective against Special-class objects. Special: Once per turn, when hit by an attack you may become immune to Fighting-type damage. |
Furious Rampage (+ATK x 2) – Scene x 2, Interrupt Action Trigger: You are hit by a [Space], [Time], or Status effect; or become Bloodied. Effect: You are unaffected by the attack or effect that triggered this Move and become Enraged for the rest of the Scene. Special: While you are Enraged: You cannot be brought below 1 HP; any damage taken at 1 HP instead results in 1 Injury; you gain +1 Attack Combat Stage when damaged. |
Max Knuckle (+ HP, +ATK) – Scene x 2, Shift Action Trigger: You make a Fighting-type attack. Effect: This attack’s range is changed to Short Range or Medium Range, gains the Versatile and Smite keywords, and deals +20 damage. If this attack resolves, you and all allies gain +1 Attack Combat Stage. Special: Ghost-type creatures resist your Fighting-type attacks instead of being immune to them. You may spend 1 PP when hitting with a Fighting-type attack to make your target one step weaker to it. |
Max Phantasm (+ATK x 2 or +SPATK x 2) – Scene x 2, Shift Action Trigger: You make a Ghost-type attack. Effect: This attack’s range is changed to Short Range or Medium Range and gains the Versatile and Smite keywords, and deals +20 damage. If this attack resolves, all enemies lose –1 Defense Combat Stage. Special: When making Ghost-type attacks: As an Interrupt Action, as part of this attack you may grab up to Gigantic Size’s (10×10 squares) worth of Unfixed and Unheld objects and collide them with the target at Tier 2 Speed, combining their sizes for the final Object Size and Weight Class. |
Plasma Fists (+ATK, +SPEED) – At-Will, Free Action Trigger: You hit with a Physical attack. Effect: All of the target’s attacks become Electric-type until your next Start Phase. Special: When you remove a creature or object’s DR by attacking, it is permanently gone until whatever effect that caused the DR is reactivated – for every point of DR removed, your attack deals +1 damage. You may spend 1 PP to deal +4 damage per DR removed. |
