Crafting Skills: Pokemon Edu./Tech Edu./Survival Crafting Scrap: General & Tech
Pokeballs are shrinkable metal balls that can capture Pokemon by transforming them into energy and storing them within the ball. They come in a wide variety, many suited for specific purposes. See the Capturing Pokemon section for details on using Pokeballs. Pokeballs can recall Pokemon into them from Short Range; Pokeballs release Pokemon adjacent to themselves.
- Pokeballs cannot capture Pokemon that are Fainted or owned by another Trainer – the Pokemon is simply not turned into energy. This process is taxing on a Pokemon’s health and would hurt them if they were unconscious when energized.
- However, some… illicit sources sell Pokeballs that are jailbroken, removing this restriction. These Pokeballs are quite valuable, but illegal to possess. Don’t get caught with them.
- Basic Balls are sold for 20, Great Balls for 40, and Ultra Balls for 80. All Special Balls are sold for 80 as well, but may not always be available in every shop.
- All Pokeballs are of “N-12” weight.
- Enhancements marked with a * can only be applied after the Pokeball has already been created.
